Gilpin County Elected Officials

Ron Engels: (Bio Pending)

Linda Isenhart:  In my thirty-four years as a Gilpin County resident, I have had the opportunity to serve our beautiful mountainous county in a number of capacities from ambulance work in the ‘90’s, to working for the Mountain Family Health Centers, Gilpin County Public Health & Environment and the county’s Human Services department.  Through these experiences along with raising my family here, I have always believed that we serve others first.  This remains true as I fulfill my duties as a Gilpin County Commissioner.  I represent our county locally and around the state.  Your county commissioners work as a team, identifying solutions to the many challenges we routinely face.  It should be noted that we can’t solve to everyone’s satisfaction the problems that arise; but we do our best given the rules and restrictions within which we must work.  This is democracy at work with all of is great and messy parts!  Gilpin County comes first in my job priorities.  Responsible use of taxpayer dollars goes hand in hand with ensuring vital mandated county services, safeguarding our environment, preserving our rich western heritage and strengthening our ties to this amazing community we call HOME.
